I would try and trace down any women named RYAN, possibly with a brother named James, who fits the age and physical description of “Etta Place”, and who might have been in either San Antone or Fort Worth during the same time .. Why would anyone say that Place was not her name, she said it was, and since no other name is known for sure, then Place is her only known name.
Without ever saying anything explicit, she indicated that she hailed from the East Coast.
